As a follow on from the successful book Best Australian Architecture, this new installment walks the reader through some of Australia's finest houses. An inspirational book filled with what is now in Australian architecture and design. Inside the reader will be instructed on how they can achieve a result that says 'wow'. We will also introduce the readers to the firms that are producing the work. People within the architectural and design industry and consumers alike will love this book. It was distinctiveness that counted when I chose the houses to put into this book. From the large and luxurious to the small and clever I have tried to assemble what I consider to be the best in their category. The best in sustainability is represented, as well as the best in design detail. The aim of the book was to showcase as many differing ideas as was possible in the one volume. As you glean through these pages, my hope is that you will source ideas to help you with your own home. The Australian dream has been realised in all of these projects and all are as individual as the owners themselves. I have created this collection purposefully to offer readers a plethora of new viewpoints on design. My dream is that readers will find enough inspiration in this book to last a lifetime and keep it as a constant reference to go back to for many years to come.
